ARCWP - Unit 3
Yes, in fact, women did write parts of the Bible. In this course we will peel back the invisibility cloak that has hidden women’s authorship from us.
This will be the "Hybrid" version of Women Who Wrote the Bible and will be offered in January-February 2025, with a weekly in-person component.
ARCWP - Unit 4

The simple in and out motion of needle and thread, while praying, is an ancient sacred practice. This course will provide inspiration and an understanding of the materials and practice of hand-stitching prayers. You will learn various simple stitches and materials to create a prayer cloth, amulet, stitching journal, stitched prayer book, and prayer pocket. Prayerful hand-stitching, with practice, becomes a form of sacred poetry. Women stitching their prayers with intention, in a meditative rhythm, offer healing for the soul of the world.
Celebrate the eight festivals the Celtic Wheel of the Year, exploring their meaning, energy and creativity.
Each of us has an awakened brain with a natural capacity to perceive a great reality and consciously connect to the life force that moves in, through and around us. Whether or not we participate in a spiritual practice or adhere to a faith tradition, or not we identify as religious or spiritual, our brain has a natural inclination toward and docking station for spiritual awareness.

Join us for Freedom Fridays as international yogini, Wambui Njuguna-Räisänen, and feminist chaplain-scholar, Lizzie Berne DeGear offer a powerful opportunity for community care and self-sovereignty. In three gentle yoga sessions we will learn to breathe deeply and practice sustainable self-care in the midst of dismantling systemic oppression. All are welcome and no prior experience with yoga is needed.
