PCS 204 - Jesus the Healer: Power, Mystery and Meaning
This live online hybrid version of the mini-course includes all course materials and one ninety-minute Zoom discussion held at 7pm Eastern Time on Tuesday, January 7, 2026. In the ancient Mediterranean world, healing occurred on a number of levels of human experience—it carried moral, social, and spiritual meaning. This three-part course explores how healing was tied to divine authority, the interdependence of body and spirit, and how Jesus and his followers transformed healing into an awakening to one’s true identity in God. By the end, you’ll see Jesus’ ministry in the context of the world he lived in—as a bold vision of salvation and wholeness, still resonant and relevant today.
