As with any creative endeavour, there are a number of people who add colourful ingredients and stir the alphabet soup. Michele's memoir is no different. Although she took long hours to contemplate and then dictate her many stories, often from her bed, it was Marg McCaffery Piche who diligently scribed and typed them. Barbara Billey combed through each line of the text and re-read to Michele each chapter to produce an edited draft. She and Michele selected poems that have been inserted within the text. All of them were written by Michele and taken from various publications, including her self-published collection of poetry entitled Night Ride.
The text of this memoir was further refined ("a second set of eyes") by Nori Kieran-Meredith (Chapters 1-9) and Joanna Novosedlik (Chapters 10-22). Mary Theresa Streck gathered the chapters and produced a final version that is posted on the People's Catholic Seminary web-site.
