It provides a history of role the international Roman Catholic Women Priests’ Movement  and its impact on redefining pastoral ministry as a discipleship of equals in the 21^st century.

It also offers a critique of the Vatican’s prohibition against women priests

and compares the similarities and differences between the Ordination Rite of the Institutional Church and the Ordination Rite of Roman Catholic Women Priests Movement.
