PCS 719 Praying with The Multiple Intelligences:
Growing in God’s Love and Our Giftedness
During this class, we will explore how God beckons us to come and be loved and then share that love. We will use Gardner’s multiple intelligences as the basis for this class. Dr. Howard Gardner, Ph.D. was a professor who developed the “multiple intelligences theory” that revolutionized education forever – expanding the many ways that material is presented and recognizing the strengths of the individual learners.
During our time together, we will explore the different intelligences, using them as lenses to recognize the gifts God has given us, how we can use them to pray in different ways and love others more powerfully. We will explore each intelligence and gift through:
· Bible passages depicting the variety of gifts
· Saints who have showcased the gifts
· Music
· Spiritual activities
· Sharing
Class participants will leave with a better appreciation for their own gifts, an understanding of the gifts in their loved ones and a spiritual toolbox filled with prayer exercises. Come! Be filled with God’ love and joy – strengthened to be instruments of God’s healing love and grace.
Our dynamic presenter is Rev. AndreaGrace.
Rev. AndreaGrace is an ordained Roman Catholic woman priest as well as an ordained interfaith minister, a wife of 30+ years, a mother of four, an intergenerational specialist and entrepreneur. She first recognized God’s love for her in a powerful way at the age of 10 and has been journeying more deeply into God’s love since then. Rev. AndreaGrace is a renowned, national presenter who brings joy, depth and breadth to her work, turning each gathering into a Spirit-filled, life-giving celebration.
